My name is Anna Eovaldi and I will be teaching your students’ art classes this year. I am very excited to be back at both buildings, and dive into the art making process. This school year my husband and I are expecting our second child. Our son Joey is excited to become a big brother, baby Eovaldi is due November 2nd.
My education background:
I completed my bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University in Art Education in 2008. I was able to obtain my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University in 2012. I continue to grow as an educator by attending educational conferences.
General Art room news:
- Artsonia will continue at both building this school year. Permission slip and information will be sent home soon.
- Art Shirts: It's a great idea for messy artists to wear an art shirt. Your student will keep their art shirt in their locker. An art shirt is any old shirt/apron students can put on over their school clothes to keep clean. Please label the art shirt with your child’s name.
- Please be mindful that most art lessons will take one to three classes for completion. I will be sending home all of your child's masterpieces when they are dry and finished!
- Royal Oak public library and Celebration of the Arts: This school year some artwork will be chosen for display at one of the above events. Artwork that is chosen will be returned to the student after the art show has concluded.
Stay Creative - Mrs. Eovaldi
